after updating to IOS 10, my contacts list have 40 empty contacts added. why is that

I had updated my phone to IOS 10 couple of days ago, and I found there are at least 40 empty contacts been added to my contact list, and some of my friends also have this issue, what is the reasone behind this bug?How do I deal with it?

I had this too but I had also downloaded Hiya caller ID & blocker, it was after this I noticed the blank entries. I had to manually delete each one as removing the app didn't remove the entries, am currently keeping an eye on things to see if they return.
